About this product

Product Information

From the arcades to your home comes Seicross, a side-scrolling motorcycle shoot-'em-up. Those nasty Basrahs have attacked the peaceful Petras of the planet Colura. While hiding underground, the Petras developed the Gilgitt Petras, a laser-shooting miniature rescue bike.

Your job is to ride the Gilgitt through three worlds, destroying motorcycle-riding Basrahs while saving the defenseless Petras. You can avoid, bump, or shoot the Basrahs.

During your mission, you will be surrounded by strange plants, weird creatures, and unusual obstacles, which include energy cannons, dinosaur fossils, rock cannons, aliens, and living bombs. Shoot or avoid everything in sight. Your bike is destroyed if you are hit by an enemy projectile, crash into a wall or other obstacle, or if you run out of energy. You can retrieve extra energy by picking up energy packs that appear along the course. To power up your laser beam, destroy a Radar Bouy and then grab the Power Star that will appear.

If you can make it through the Obstacle Zone, the Slippery Zone, and the Battery Zone, you will enter Space City and challenge the BalTank, a super powerful Dinosaur Tank.

Seicross is a timewaster in a good way. Not recommended for use with the original NES pad as you need an arcade stick to maneuver your speed bike as the screen scrolls quickly giving you little time to maneuver. So, use the NES Advantage Controller with this game. Seicross is like Choplifter on a speed bike in the future saving escaped prisoners. Good fun in short bursts.
