Two LP colored edition includes 8 unreleased bonus tracks and digital download card. Reissue of HiM's album, Deep Shadow & Brilliant Highlights. 'Of all of HiM's albums, Deep Shadows and Brilliant Highlights possesses the biggest contrast between dark and light. There may not have been as many entombed emotions and vampire hearts to be found here, but Valo's sensual delivery and poetic words still dove into an ocean of romantic darkness, albeit with a hopeful light shining through on tunes like 'In Joy and Sorrow' and 'You Are The One'. Even the parting that Valo fears in 'Please Don't Let It Go' has a lilting feeling that is energizing. It's a sad song that makes you want to groove. Producer Kevin Shirley, who lent his talents to three tracks, gave it the full, rich production it deserved.' - Bryan Reesman.
