Reproduction does not match original
The key blank is a reproduction and does not duplicate the dimensions of the original equipment key. The blank I received is too thick to be inserted in the ignition of my 66 Mustang. When comparing the thickness to the original, it is clearly .0002-.0003 larger than original. Solid, original style Mustang keys
I received some very lightweight aluminum keys from the previous owner of my mustang and I was terrified they were going to snap off on me. These keys are great, they look like the original style and are nice and solid, once I had them cut they worked great and I don’t have to worry about them anymore. Even if I had a better set of keys to start with I’d still recommend them, if you have a Mustang you should have the matching keys, the small details make a difference.
