  • OK movie receives also OK release

This is the original Blu-ray release of Part 3, which has never been one of my favorites in the series, mainly because I feel like it feeds off of the 3D gimmick a little too much. This set includes both the 3D and 2D versions of the movie, with two pairs of 3D glasses designed around Jason’s hockey mask inside as well. I don’t know how the Scream Factory release handled the 3D version, but apparently it did it fairly well. This release did it…about as well as you’d expect from an anaglyph conversion, which isn’t very well, but I guess I’ll take what I can get. Overall, not too bad.

  • One of my favorites

The movie itself is both great and terrible. I've loved it since I saw it in the theaters as a kid. The only problem is that the 3D doesn't really work. I just watch it in 2D.
