    Sounds like one costing several hundreds of $ (if set up properly that is)!

    I'm not a stylus/cartridge guru so I can't expand on the technical aspects of this particular one. I know it's even a lower level entry in their lineup of cartridges but even if the MP-500 sounds half as good as these, then they most assuredly are worth the almost $1K price tag of them. I've had and used several different cartridges over the years and the MP-110 is just about the best "all around" one I've ever heard. Advice tho..you must, must, must set this up right to get the "all" that this combo is capable of reproducing. Take your time and set all adjustments that are needed and this stylus/cartridge will pleasantly surprise you!

    About 1/2 the cost of a new MP-110

    I restored my Nagaoka MP-110 to its original performance for about 1/2 the cost of a new cartridge. The -110 stylus is easy to remove and replace. The cartridge also allows larger styli for older records, such as the NMP-1.0 (1.0 for mono LP's and 45's) and the N-MP 78 (3.0 mil for 78's).

    My favorite cart!!

    I really love this cart & stylus!! Sounds better than alot of carts twice the cost! Replacing the stylus strictly as maintenance. Old stylus still sounds great but noticed slight sibelance starting. I try to replace every 9-12 months due to the hours I put on my turntable.

    Exactly as you would expect from Nagaoka. A few hours to play it in and it sounds amazing for the price. Easy to install on the existing cart. It tracks so well and extracts so much music from the vinyl. It also doesnt pick up as much noise on old vinyl as many stylus in the same price range

    Well detailed sound from this budget replacement stylus makes it best option for those who run the turn table all day long. Performs good both on modern records and pressings from 50s and 60s - which is critical for many collectioners like myself. This cartridge works fine with budget Linn tone arms - Basik and Akito.
