    Lightweight and powerful.

    I got these to replace my previous set of Kobalt drill and driver that got ruined from the salt water floods from Helene. That set was about 8 yo. I am pleased to see how much this new set has improved from the older ones. It seems like Kobalt is generally improving its products. Not that you will be likely to find anyone on a job site using these. But, for DIY, they are ok. For instance, the Kobalt circular saw tends to bind. Anyway, if you are just getting started with a battery powered tool platform, I would go with Dewalt, or Milwaukee or Makita. .
