    LP CP636B 10" Conga Head

    I have an older set of 10" and 11" CP conga's. Our move to a more humid climate resulted in a tear in the Quinto head. After attempting and failing to find a store with a replacement head in stock, I was at least able to find a newer set of CP conga's and verified by checking the size playing surface against the new head. I found I was looking for a 10" head. Apparently, while the head playing size has not changed, the ring size that fits into the comfort curve rim has changed. After receiving the new head (which is the only 10" head sold for a CP conga), I found that the inner ring on the replacement head was too small. Thus, the head I received does not fit my drum. I am going to have to take the head apart and use the last ring in place of the new one. While CP conga's are from a 3rd ...

    Sounds good but it is not for conga drums. It is to low. It says in the description around 1 1/2" tall or high and it is not.
