I’m not sure if this was because the album had been wrapped for a few years or for some other reason. The damage could not be seen until it was unwrapped, so I don’t think the seller knew about this.     Great product - headset could be better.

    I am a fitness instructor and purchased this to use in my classes so I didn't have to yell tell the loud music. Everything was super easy to setup to my speaker system. It is nice to have a wireless headset that does not require a belt to be worn or have any dangling wires get in the way......however....the headset is not really adjustable. I have a very small head so even though it does me, the headset slips and the mic shifts everytime I lower or raise my head (into a forward fold, downdog, updog, etc). There is also the battery pack that sits right on the back of the headset so it really gets in the way when doing any type of core work that involves laying or rolling on your back/head/neck. But overall the mic and system does what it is supposed to do. it's affordable, clear, and ...

    Amazing sound system

    I love the quality of sound coming from this system. I love that is it wireless. However, it takes a speaker to hook up to and it takes time to put all the pieces together. You need electricity to plug the amp into also. The other thing is the battery behind the head. It is cumbersome when you are teaching because it slides down the back of your head due to its weight. I am not trying to make this a bad review because I love the quality of the sound. As an instructor on the move, it slides too much for me personally.

    Excellent for Spin Instructor Use

    The Samson Airline 77 delivers high quality sound and is also extremely lightweight -perfect for my role as spin instructor. There is no belt pack, so that makes my job a bit easier! I carry my mic around to 3 different gyms around NYC and I ended buying a Pelican Case with moldable cushioning for and extra $45. I highly recommend this mic to any fitness instructor, its clean, simple, easy to setup, and great to use!

    easy to hook up, but fades or cuts out after a while

    I teach 5 spin classes in 5 different facilities each week so the sound systems aren't all exactly the same. In one facility I have no problem going 45-55 minutes without any problems. In 2 other spin rooms I just get a loud hum when I plug the 3 prong outlet in, so I assume the equipment may not be compatible or the equipment may be older; in the other 2 facilities it seems the sound gets weaker or cuts out after about a half hour. I know the battery is not the problem, and have no idea why it would work perfectly for 30 minutes and then cut or fade out. I check the mute button and it remains off. I keep my wired headset ready to switch over when this happens. I haven't contacted the manufacturer yet as I've had the unit only for a few weeks. Jim
