Old pump was fried, this got it all back up and running
I had about a ten-year old tired pump that rusted and seized. This along with the go kit made it a breeze in about an hour to get the old super pump back in order. Great pump, but......
I would have given it 5 starts, but I had an air leak after the initial installation and it took awhile to figure out where it was. Turns out it was at the inlet connection to the pump. Same as the my first super pump the was installed 40 years ago. It took some RTV gasket sealer to fix the problem. I thought it strange that both pumps had the same problem on install. I have the pump on a timer so if the problem is not fixed soon the pump will not work properly.. Make sure you double check that there are no air leaks before you put the pump on a timer.
