I knew that the actors spoke Greed with English subtitles, so that was expected. The sets were adequate, if uninspiring. But the acting seemed pretty stilted, and the make-up was amateurish, especially all the fake beards and wigs.
A far better version of Antigone was produced by the BBC for use in academic environments, and so carries a large institutional price tag: about 200 USD. It can be found on YouTube, but it was loaded in 9-minute segments. I obtained a VHS copy on eBay for about 25 USD. The acting is superb, and although the set design is simple, it is majestic, and works very well for this play.
