They are quiet in my opinion. I like a soft sound where a fan would be too loud, I set these up upon arrival. Just plug in the power supply. I put one in the bathroom as the bath fan doesnt seem to pull all the steam out. This dehumidifier pulls the water. The other is in a small bedroom. Hope the 2nd makes it more than two years.
This is the 2nd one of this model I have bought. The first on worked very good for about 2 yrs and than it just up and quit completely. I had to take it apart a couple of times to thoroughly clean it and about the 3rd time I did that something had burnt out. I tried resetting any switches that might have been the problem. Nothing. Not having testing equipment I would not have the soderling skill necessary to connect some fine wire, or electrode, so I am trying your product again as maybe this one will last 10 yrs. Hard working units
These dehumidifiers are working perfectly. Living in the Pacific Northwest, it’s quite damp here. So, we have one in our camper and the other in our kitchen. Very small unit, but I use it in a 1200 SF. basement area and it removes moisture well.
