    Just the right size unit, works great

    Packing of this VHS recorder/player was really well done, unit arrived safely, no damage. I did not realize that there was no remote control, however, it was not advertised, so it was my oversight. I will be able to obtain one on my own.

    Not worth 200 dollars but i was desperate and could not take a chance on another used unit. The first one bought was used and tore up tapes.

    Very pricy for the quality or should I say lack there of. It does what I needed it to do, there are no frills but it does play, rewind, fast forward, and stop tapes. Super basic and I do mean basic.

    Defective unit

    The new unit arrived dead on arrival. the Play, FF, Rewind and Eject buttons on the unit did absolutely nothing. The only way I could get my tape out of the machine was with the remote. The Play, FF, Rewind buttons on the remote also had no effect.

    I can't figure out how to hook it up

    I haven't been able to hook it up correctly to my TV yet so I don't know how well it will work. That's a problem with me (just can't figure it out!) not the product.

    Small profile, functions well

    The tape feed is smooth and there is no extra grinding sound to the motor on loading or during play. The quality of the image is appropriate to the age of the machine and the age of the VHS tapes being played.
