    OSKAR TO THE RESCUE

    I was thrilled to find the motor base for my Oskar. When the motor to my Oskar finally gave out, it was very disappointing. After 25 years, the Oskar had become my dependable, "go to" piece of kitchen equipment. It was just the right size and had power that met all of my needs. After searching the internet, I gave up trying to find a food processor of similar size that performed all of the tasks that the Oskar did. The quality and durability of Oskar can't be found in most of today's products. To summarize, the Sunbeam Oskar is a workhorse that hasn't been duplicated in today's products. It grates, chops, slices and combines. A consumer can't ask for more than a product that does the job for 25 years.

    Vintage food processor gets the job done!

    Almost exactly the same as the unit we previously had, but one year newer. This version processes/chops food faster and more quietly -- and the bowl is more durable. The main problem with this (and the earlier model) is the size -- it's smaller size somewhat limits (or slows down) the process a bit at times. But overall, a great, easy-to-use food processor.
