Product Information

Monster Rancher 4 continues Tecmo's creature-breeding series with a new adventure element that has players embarking on an epic quest with their created monster team. As in previous versions, players can insert random CDs or DVDs to generate a distinct type of creature with varying attributes. These attributes can then be nurtured over time through training, feeding, and proper care of the digital creatures. Monster Rancher 4 differs from earlier games in the series by allowing players to train or breed up to five creatures at once instead of each one separately. More than 300 monster types are available in total.<br><br>The training facility itself has undergone a makeover, to the point where players can choose which equipment to include in their monsters' daily workout regimen. Once the monsters are suitably trained and prepared, they can be taken to different lands to fight against other creatures, enter tournaments supporting tag-team matches, unearth new secrets, and explore regions unknown. Players control a young character named Phan this time around, who must prove he has what it takes to become an elite breeder. Many bonuses await patient players, with unlockable monsters, levels, and even a new battle system to help further distinguish this fourth installment from the rest of the series.
