Gets you started
Well it IS a cheap option for 3D scanning, so keep that in mind. I do not have much experience with other similar products, so I can only judge the relationship on this unit compared with my expectations. I see a lot of misplaced dots in a scan, so expect the need for a lot of manual cleanup afterwards. It is very easy to set up and get going. Scanning takes a very long time. (hours) But again...
