  • Not sure.

    This was an attempt to repair a Yamaha VSS-30 toy keyboard sampler that wouldn't play back samples or recorded sequences. I read on a forum that replacing this chip would solve the problem. So, I tried it. Results failed. I'm now assuming it was the LSI microprocessor that was malfunctioning. That would have to come from Yamaha. They no longer support the product. Therefore, I can't say yay or nay about it.
