Great compact jack for professional repair
Updated design is easily crimped over the cable jacket, has a deeper cut for better access with the soldering iron, and has a convenient hole for soldering the sleeve connection to the back. Tip comes with a rubber cover to prevent marring from "helping hands" and for better grip while working. Neither the styling or small size can be beat, and you'd be hard-pressed to find any of better quality. Recommended for use by those experienced with soldering, with a quality iron for making quick connections in tight spaces. After ensuring proper continuity, I recommend applying afew touches of epoxy with a toothpick on the soldered joints and wires, before heat-shrinking over them. Great quality/ value / performance
The poles were kinda small, but it comes with two of the Gold 3.5mm (4 pole) and one smaller 3.5mm (4 pole) jack too. Additionlly, there are two shrink wrap sleves, which really came in handy. I havent noticed a diffrece in quality from the original jack, so my headset is back to perfect working order.
