If you are looking for a ready case for the X10, then this is The One
This is a great ready case for the Fuji X10 (and presumably X20). It is nicely made, well stitched, and the fit is perfect. I was not sure from the description if it would fit properly over the stock lens cap, but it does fit just fine. There would definitely be no room for a lens hood however. Some specifics to note: 1) The description does not mention that the part of the cover that goes over the screen is lightly padded -this is a really nice feature. 2) The half case part fits absolutely perfectly onto the camera 3) If you are waffling between this version with the snap access to the batter/SD compartment, and the slightly less expensive version that requires one to unscrew the case from the camera... get this one. Trust me, the slight savings will not be worth the PITA of ... This is a great ready case for the Fuji X10 (and presumably X20). It is nicely made, well stitched, and the fit is perfect. Fuji X10 X20 Leather Case (full) with opening hatch for battery/card - a Classic!
Seriously good quality finish, better than I had expected. In genuine leather. The lower half case fits perfectly, and adds about 10mm depth to the camera, making it sit in my hands much better (the base contains an alloy plate for strength and protection.). It is retained by a strong brass screw which maintains a secure tripod mount. The opening hatch gives easy and clear access to the batter/card chamber. The feel of the leather also means that you can hold the camera safely with a much lighter grasp. The outer case wraps around easily, and has a soft, well-padded area to protect the screen and upper controls, and the inside of both parts is finished in a soft suede leather. The outer has plenty of room for a thick filter or the original lens cap, but not quite enough for a lens hood ... Seriously good quality finish, better than I had expected. In genuine leather. As delivered, the finish of the leather is a lightly-polished dark tan - at my own risk I carefully wiped it down with a cloth soaked in methylated spirits and the darker dye eventually washed away, leaving a gorgeous, soft, grippy, mid-tan finish with an "antiqued" look that would be totally at home on a 1940/50's Leica... As the leather is improving with handling, my X20 now looks like a true classic - something to be worn and used with pride. One of my better decisions -- I am very, very pleased!
