If your a fan of the old shorts like Abbot and Costello, Laurel and Hardy, and The Three Stooges, then I recommend this DVD. Back in the 40's before television introduced us to The Honeymooners and I Love Lucy, these short reels were the rage inbetween the main features at the movies. Leon Errol was a gifted comedian/actor who had a gift for serious slapstick. Captured here are many of his black and white gems, with story lines of marriage, household and work confusion. As a baby boomer born in the late 50's, I would have missed his work altogether but in the summer of 1971, they aired weeknights at 11 p.m. on a show called Reelcamp. All my adult life I wondered if I would ever get to see them again. Here they are for not only the world war two generation, but anyone seeking nostalgia from ...
