What? I cant hear you!
My Ryzen fan was plenty quiet during idle but above 30% it starts to sound like a UFO with a bad hover drive. buzzzzzzzz booooo buzzzzzzzzzz booooo, OMG It was driving me nuts. So I bought this. Now I hear nothing. My main fans are Be Quiet shadow wings 2 and my GPU cooler is a Artic turbo 3 so what i mean to say is my system is now as quiet as silence. No Wurries! Pro's : I cant hear it, It runs at slightly cooler than the stock wraith cooler It comes with everything to do the job even a all metal screwdriver It comes with a metal Noctua badge, I really like that. It fits and works with Ryzen and can be orientated left to right or up and down fin wise. Also comes with a great big tube of CPU lube, Thermal paste that is! grey gold. Thou I used my own so I can't speak for its heat moving ... Con's: I can now here the ringing in my ears. knitpicking I didn't like the all metal screwdriver, its not magnetic and slippery could lead to dropping it. and I'm not in love with Noctua Blown and Light Brown color scheme ,thou I feel the color is a nice nod to anyone that knows the brand and makes you instantly say "you got a noctua" Would I recommend it. Only if you got are plan to make the rest of your system quiet. otherwise the wraith cooler sat me around 45 idle and 55-70 under load and Noctua is about 45 idle and 50-65 under load which is not that big a deal. Noctua excellence
As always, Noctua delivers with another amazing HSF. This unit is replacing another Noctua C type HSF that didn't work as planned with case airflow in a Fractal Design Node 605. The machine, a 6700k based rig has been folding at home for a month now, usually around 35c over ambient at basic silent operation.

Noctua NH-D9L CPU Cooler.
Works as expected. I needed a lower height cooler for my HTPC case and this fits nicely. I put a second fan on it for a push/pull and it keeps my 4790K cool and happy around 70 celcius with a 4.7 GHz - 1.275 volt overclock at 100% load. If you're familiar with the 4790K you know it is a pain in the a** to keep it cool with an overclock but this seems to work pretty good, just be sure to put a second fan on it.Works as expected. Beautiful design. well made. I cant hear it running but yet it is keeping my CPU cool and comfy. I have an HP PC which I had to remove the stock bracket vs what the included detailed instructions said to leave it. Installed easy after that and I am very pleased with this. 100% recommended
