I bought this phone to suppliment my other phones, a Blackberry Storm and a Samsung A990. I bought a W755 for my wife when I bought my Blackberry and I liked her phone instantly. While the camera does not compare well to the 3.2 megapixels of my other phones and the phone book does not have the capabilities of my other phones, I'm very happy with my W755. It looks good, feels good, is simple to use, and has better fringe reception than my Samsung. The phone size is perfect, more compact than my other phones but not too small to hold and operate efficiently. I would not buy any of the Razors because they felt flimsy and were falling apart for my friends that had active life styles. The W755 has a very solid feel to it and after a month with the phone, no sign of hinge play is evident. I live very actively and my used phones have no resale value. I believe this phone is a keeper.Read full review
The Good: If you are like me, and you want a phone to be a phone, and do not care about all the bells and whistles, then this phone is for you. Dropped calls were a thing of the past once I got this phone, and I was able to get calls to begin ringing, even when I had NO signal bars. My old phone would not even try to connect unless it had enough signal strength...this phone at least goes ahead and dials, and let's you talk, even if you are in a bad area. This was rare, as I live in a big city, and reception is good, so I cannot tell you how it functions in rural areas. The Bad: Everything else. If you want to text or send pix messages, or check email or anything that a phone should not do, then it is a pain. If you are looking for bells and whistles, then this is not the phone for you. Sure, it is sleek looking, and have a convenient design, but beyond that it is very lack luster, and proud of it. I went from a touch/PDA smart-phone, to this, and although I never had a data plan, I found myself wishing for a touch screen again. If you are not a touchscreen fan, and just care about making calls, then you will like this phone.Read full review
I got this phone for a decent price. A phone will generally last me about 6 months. The Battery life on this phone is low. I am reaching for a signal a lot, so I get about 24 hours on the battery. I purchased an extended battery and that seems to get me about 2 and a half to 3 days use and standby time. The Phone seems well built. The ringer volume and handset ear volume are great for noisy work environments. Havent had any problems with it in the first week of use. The phone doesnt have much in the way of bells and whistles. It is perfect for what I need it for and it is compact enough that it doesnt get in the way when carrying it around. All in all a decnt unit. I'd buy another one like it.
Sturdy flip phone hinge and metal sides. Common MOTO features and menu interfaces. Includes video capability in addition to camera function. Nice screen and keys are large with great tactile feel. Same standard MOTO button layout as most MOTOs (volume rocker; speaker phone on/off, and power connection on one side; command button and headphone plug on the other side; also has music controls on face of phone under outside screen. ) Kind of a more solid (thicker) Razor design. If your looking for a reasonable phone for text and calling, this one works well. Recommended esp. if in good used shape for $20-$55.
I love my phone. It is a beautiful color of purple which is the main reason I bought it. It works just fine. It has lots of features that I will never use because the use of them costs extra. It is a nice size. It doesn't accidentally shut off or dial numbers if touched in error. I would like the battery to last longer and wish it came with more interesting rings. These two detractions are the reason I gave it 4 rather than 5 stars. I know I can buy all sorts of rings but that is the point; you have to add on at additional cost. A previous phone came with a more interesting assortment. I am not into the new smart phones. One feature I especially like is that it's charger is a USB connector. Unfortunately, it did not like to go swimming which is why I needed to replace it.
