If you prefer a butyl tubular TT tire, this is the best choice. Butyl allows you to pump up the night before a race and remove that item from your checklist in the morning--always a welcome thing when the tire is mounted on a disc wheel. It's grippy enough, comes in the right widths for narrower, more aero options, and has low rolling resistance. The main gripe, as always with Continentals, is it is nearly impossible to stretch onto the rim with glue in place without a lot of swearing! In the end, it's worth it, though, because these tires rarely go flat in TTs. In fact, I've done over 40 TTs in the past five years and never flatted on one.
