The 510UB bridge/Tailpiece combo was just what I was looking for! Smooth flowing lines, NO sharp edges or protrusions, makes it comfortable for palming. Fore/Aft adjustment is great. Also, if needed, individual saddles can be reversed to increase range of travel to dial in the intonation. Nice heavy chrome finish.

I was really disappointed that it didn't just bolt up to the same holes left by my existing tune-o-matic bridge on my guitar, I mean there is room if you make the heads of the bolts smaller, and move the position in. Next would be something to fill the back holes. Two bolts with flat heads that sit flush with very small hex heads would probably work great. With this design I have to fill all four holes and re-drill 2 of them. Go down to Guitar Center or some other guiltar store and get that priced before buying this. Other than that it's a very nice bridge!

I know it is easy to criticize someone's design, but two or three small changes would make this awesome. 1) smooth the edges, especially at the top front corner. 2) add a bit more material to the back, which would allow a shallower angle for the strings AND let The unwound portion of the string to make the sharp wraparound bend, and 3) add more material where the grub screws are. This would keep me from scraping my hand on the screw and make it less likely that the high E string would slide around toward the stud when loosened and retightened. But it does look good, sound good, and install easily. I'd buy another.

Nice looking bridge with all the needed adjustments. Very good quality for the money.. The bridge posts were too small for the holes drilled on my guitar. Took some shimming to make them fit .

So I've had this bridge on a LP double cut for some odd months now, and think it's a solid piece as far as construction goes, however, it won't intonate properly. It does produce great sustain, just won't intonate. Goes sharp around the 12th frets like you wouldn't believe. I thought maybe I sucked at guitar set ups all of a sudden, despite my years of being a guitar tech, or that I needed to replace the nut, so I decided to take it to a guitar repair shop for another opinion. After having the the repair guy fiddle with it for a few days, he let me know I should get a new bridge because even with taking the saddles out and flipping them, there still wasn't enough space for the saddles to go far enough back to intonate properly and that my nut was fine. I had really high expectations because I've heard nothing but good about Gotoh products, but this isn't one of them. So I'm replacing it with a tone pros clone of a pigtail bridge, that is much more affordable than the $50 dollars spent on this item and seeing how it is well past the return time frame, I'm stuck with a cool looking paper weight.... I'd steer clear of this and look elsewhere.Read full review
