I like to model, impressionistically, my home city--streets and buildings actually more than railways specifically. Thus I need sidewalks. Lots of them. In some ways, I prefer the sidewalks made by Downton Deco. Because of the material they're made with--hydrocal--those seem to make a more faithful model for sidewalk surfaces than do these plastic pieces. On the other hand, these plastic sidewalks won't so easily crack or break. They offer more detail than I thought they would. And they take paint and weathering well. I'll be entirely happy to use just these plastic ones for more recently poured--therefore less damaged--sidewalks, especially to front plastic building models as distinct from hydrocal. Good product...Buy without hesitation!

A useful product for model railroaders. Use it as is for HO gauge or cut along the scribed line on the back for N gauge. Some pieces have details like manhole covers moulded into the piece. As to cut with a hobby knife.
