Very good incubator for the price point. Doesn't have a day counter, but that's not really a problem. Settings are relatively easy to work out and after a little initial trouble getting the egg tray to turn (think I have a slightly loose connection wire), it was away and running to hatch my babies right on time. Side holes are easily accessible to top up the water level without opening the lid and it came with a water bottle to fit the holes. This 24 egg version holds the temperature and humidity much better than the 48 egg version I already have - so although I bought this one to use as a separate hatcher, I've decided to use this one for incubation and the big one as a hatcher instead. Very easy to clean as all the electrical parts are in the lid, so that can be put to one side out of harms way (water) and the base can be scrubbed and disinfected. All in all very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend to a hobbyist not wishing to take out a second mortgage for an incubator.Read full review

We were delighted to see that the standard perameters for the machine are already factory set, all we had to do was add water and eggs, soooo easy. although I found the manual confusing at first glance, due to all the Chinese writing, once I concentrated I found all the info we need. The packaging is very clever in that, the foam box it contains, can be used as insulation for the incubator in very cold weather. We are trying chicken eggs first but bought this mainly for Quails, and as the incubator can hold 96 Quail eggs we are glad that we can space eggs out from different layings on different trays and still have plenty of room.

The incubator failed in the first 24 hours. I had a thermometer inside that contradicted the set temperature. I increased the set temperature but the thermometer continued to register a low temp. In fact it seemed to fall further. In the end, the temp. inside the incubator was the same as room temperature. It was also some-what noisy (it didn't worry me too much but I am a bit deaf, the rest of my family found the noise quite irritating). Thank-fully I was able to quickly access another type of incubator to save the fertile eggs I had purchased.

Not sure how to rate quality as unable to use it so far as all instructions are in Chinese/Japanese with very scanty English. Can't seem to find anything helpful on you tube to help either.

The English instructions lost something in the translation from Chinese and the unit fluctuated too much to result in a successful incubation. Mine went to land fill
