Top quality construction. Replaced the 37 years old worn down shift knob on an 86 Truck. It is much smaller in size than the original OEM knob. Feels almost like it is not there. I bought online a 5-speed center logo and it was even to big in diameter, but could trim it down to fit over the TRD logo and glued it in place. Looks good but it is small.

I really like the design of the shift knob but once I got it installed and started rowing gears I ended up not liking it very much. It’s small for a knob and isn’t weighted. My stock shift knob is heavier. Also the carbon fiber design up close is a let down. It’s just gray squares. I had high hopes since it’s TRD branded but turns out not as substantial as I thought.

    TRD LETTERS ONLY WITHOUT SURROUNDING GRAPHIC 'L'

    Compare my picture to the picture in advertisement, and you will see the difference. I was hoping for the knob graphics in the advertisement. The knob fits well on the manual shifter to my antique-tagged '83 Celica GTS. it rotates right into place with the TRD letters positioning perfectly. Don't know if the orientation of the knob will change with use. Time will tell.

    Nice shift knob

    Pretty small, but looks really nice. Gives my Celica a bit more premium look. Feels great too. I feel like I got more leverage on my shifts.

    Well made little TRD ball
