Fixes the range problem of the WiiU gamepad
This chip repaired our WiiU gamepad where it would lose connectivity with the console beyond a range of 2ft. Our gamepad now funcitons as well as when we purchase it. I was referred to this replacement chip by an instructional video on YouTube. Watch it if you've never opened up the gamepad before. The process is easy but you'll need a tri-wing screwdriver to open up the game pad. See video for details. I'd post the link but Ebay won't let me. Search for the video entitled "Wii U Gamepad Sync Problem (Range Issues Fix) - Connection With Wii U Console Lost" This chip repaired our WiiU gamepad where it would lose connectivity with the console beyond a range of 2ft. Fixed my connection issue
My kids were sitting a foot away from the tv because the gamepad wouldn't connect from farther away. This fixed that problem and was relatively easy to install since I had the right screwdriver from a repair on something else. The only problem I had, which is the reason for the 4 stars, was that one circle around the connector pin was bent. My Wii U works perfectly now!!
For literally three years, my Wii U has had a pretty bad wireless connection. The slightest bit of interference would cause the Gamepad to disconnect or lag. I am SO glad I found out this was an option. Way better than paying over 100 for Nintendo to fix it! The first chip I ordered actually didn't work very well at all, so I asked the seller if I could get another one. I expected ot have to return the originall, but he told me not to worry about it and that I would receive another one that week at no charge! When I got the package, I found he had included not just one but TWO chips! Just in case! One of them didn't work too well either, but the second one did just the trick! I have my Wii U back now!!! Fixed my wii u gamepad issues.
Was only getting a 6 inch range with old module. This new one fixed my issues and now can bring the gamepad through out the house.

Worked as well as Original
It worked, but as an aside, it didn't actually solve the issue i was having with my gamepad, though that's not a fault of the product. If you suspect the bluetooth chip in your gamepad is going bad, this is worth a shot.
