Makes a strong bond
I used it to repair seams and refasten 2 skegs on my inflatable and found that, compared to another product, it makes a strong bond. After removing old glue residue and lightly sanding, I "primed" the surfaces with the purple pipe "dope" MEK that is used on PVC piping. On the seams I used light clamping pressure for about 12 hours. However, for hard "rubber" skegs, I couldn't figure a way to clamp so I used duct tape to hold them down, once again for about 12 hours. Once I use my inflatable a few times, which includes packing it in its transport bag, I'll know whether the bonds are doing their job.
