These need sealing around the terminal box (top & sides only) to stop rain and water ingress. Knowing that is a blessing. So get out the caulking gun and silicone, and go crazy. It'll last much longer than if you don't. Otherwise it's a great solar water pump. Thanks.

pump arrived and cable was crushed in the packaging sent photos to Cooltech and they sent me another straight away and arranged for a courier to pick up the damaged one. 10 out of 10 for service.
The pump is 25m down the bore and woks purfectly!
