I have a few very good watches and I find myself wearing this one all the time. I can't say enough about it. SUPER value for the money. The ETA 2824-2 25 jewel movement can be found on watches costing way more than this watch, way more. The attention to detail on the case, dial and bracelet is astonishing. Waterproof to 1000 feet!! Self-winding movement with date window. Very accurate time piece. My personal gripe is that it is a little big for my small wrist and I didn't know that Steinhart makes an Ocean 1 a little smaller (39mm) than this one at 42mm or else I would have gotten that one so be aware of this.

Bought 3 watches to compare including more expensive divers, and ended up keeping the Steinhart. Perfect combination of weight, size, and design. Quality movement and components. I wish the bracelet had a little more shine, but it is solid. Homage is irrelevant to me. It’s a gorgeous piece. Can’t imagine there is a better value in the diver watch space, outside of maybe the Seiko 007.

The Steinhart Ocean One is a stylish submariner Homage. But more than that, it’s a solid value Dive watch in its own right. Had the pleasure of owning this watch for about six months keeping excellent time . It’s a great starter watch for the price point or A great watch just to keep and wear. For some Rolex Snobs they are just that..snobs. The Rolex owners Audience have those who love the elegance and design of Rolex and those who just name drop the Rolex name. I very proudly own a Rolex Date but still Love my Steinhart.
