      It's good and very well made. As a golfer of many years, this little device is almost a putter with the face of a 7 or 8 iron. I took it to the practice range and it takes a little while to get used to it, but after an hour I was getting pretty close with most shots, 8 or 10 yards off the green to a normal pin position. Use it like a distance putt with soft hands and a fluid stoke but focus on keeping the line on and after impact.

      Could be good but major design flaws

      Unfortunately this club is not well designed and has flaws. Firstly the good part is the weight - it is heavy and solid enough to do the job. However (a) it is really too upright by a few degrees, (b) it is at least an inch, perhaps 2, too short, (c) the leading edge is super-sharp which means it digs in, especially on soft turf, and (d) worst of all, the sole for no good reason has a rim at the back. Why? It digs in. It doesn't glide over the turf, either the front digs in or the back does. Crazy. So, I have filed the leading edge to make it blunt, I have filed the rim on the sole to smooth it out and I have bashed the club a bit to try and make it less upright - dangerous (for the club) and neither easy nor very successful.       A stroke saver for the short game.

      I was a bit sceptical about using a chipper, now I look back and think that I had nothing to worry about as it is a very versatile club to have in the bag, especially when playing on hard, exposed scrub surfaces as it gives you confidence using a putter stroke to obtain pleasing results.
