Not a particularly large amount of memory these days, but 2 1GB sticks is all this older laptop could handle, always a good idea to have plenty of memory for the update from XP to Windows 10. For this particular seller's price, upgrade was a no-brainer. Worked as one would expect, plug in and there ya go. I chose and trusted the Crucial name, has good street cred.
