Sounds excellent, exactly what I was hoping for/expecting. High quality in every aspect. If you can get a killer deal on it like I did, I recommend it the most possible. Bcuz of that and the 100% solid performance and Sound of this pedal. It is overall the best drive/distortion pedal on my board. I have a feeling the Friedman Amps are even better but this is as close to that amp sound and feel I could get at any price point even close. You won’t regret it I promise!Sounds excellent, exactly what I was hoping for/expecting. High quality in every aspect. If you can get a killer deal on it like I did, I recommend it the most possible. It's like having 2 Friedman pedals; one with high gain and one with medium gain...although that medium gain can get really high. Dave Friedman makes awesome gear and this pedal is worth every penny.

Dave Friedman has really nailed it with this pedal! I've had quite a few OD and distortion pedals over the years (30+yrs.) and this pedal has earned a spot on my board and then some. This is the best and most versatile OD pedal I've ever heard or owned, It is a little pricey but it is worth every penny. If you are looking for a rocking machine this is it. It sounds good in all of my amps. 1977 Marshall 50 watt Bambi Half Stack,1971 Fender Pro Reverb I even have a Fender Blues Jr.III and this pedal turns it in to a little Monster all I can say is GET ONE you won't be sorry, I'm not.Dave Friedman has really nailed it with this pedal! A good upgrade over the be-od with the mid control and two channel distortion. Very happy with this one. Empress Heavy, Be-od and Angry Charly are the best sounding od/distortion pedals to my ear.

Critic might say it really only does one thing, sound like a hot Marshall. That is a fair criticism, but what it's supposed to do it does very well. A one trick pony, but wow what trick. Turns total clean to total Marshall. Sounds authentic, the best Marshall in a box ever made, you can not go wrong with this, insane gain that holds together, thick glorious ,tight if you want, or smooth if you want.
