    Still worth the watch!

    It's great to see all of my childhood Saturday TV heroes again! The films are bit primitive, but are still creatively produced and have excellent underlying themes; mostly the evils of "civilization" encroaching on an unsuspecting continent. The native and animal scenes are really a case of art capturing history, now long gone. Weissmuller is still a cinematic phenomenon, even without the modern day technology, not only "King of the Jungle," but King of Tarzans!

Plus a fourth disc with a documentary of Tarzan . So fun to revisit the past and the history of Africa and times of safaries.
