    Heaven Can Wait 1943

    I first saw this movie when cable was actually good compared to cable now , yes I am old; this movie is great I can not say enough good things about it , if you like old timey love stories that are a little ooye gooey, and makes you spouse go awwww, this movie is for you.

    A romantic, engaging movie

    All that Heaven Allows is an interesting and engaging movie about a romance between an "older" woman and a younger man. (Although to me these two do not appear to be that far apart in age. I knew a man who married a woman who was 18 years older than him, and I could definitely see the age difference!) I enjoyed the movie. It is also a very good commentary on what can happen to a woman in the suburbs when she is suddenly widowed, regarding women's critical attitudes toward her as well as the assumption by some men that she is easy prey.

    Classic films.

    This is one of my favorite films. The only issue I have is that someone has added Korean subtitles. There is no way to permanently change the subtitles to my language. Every time I play the movie I have to go into the menu and change the subtitles to my language. Not right to do this to people who are spending their hard-earned money on your merchandise.

    Rock Hudson movies are always good. This one was more on the serious side, and Jane Wyman was great. About a widow held back from romance by responsibilities and gossip. Worth the watch.
