The handle replacements are a good size, have a good grip area, and are very sturdy. They fit into the silicone spatula heads that I have perfectly. Thank you for including the measurements, that helped greatly. I have washed them once in the dishwasher and as I expected the wood was slightly rough from the moisture. I will be treating them with butcher block oil once they dry out a bit. I know over time that the wood will absorb the oils from cooking and they will build their own petina.
