In the past we had a cheaper food processor. It was hard to clean, not much thought had gone into the design, so food got stuck in all sorts of odd corners. When we dropped a part, it usually broke. This new one is built like a tank but designed to make life easier - and the extra we paid for it will be paid off by the easy and delicious soups and tabbouleh and all the wonderful food we make in it.In the past we had a cheaper food processor.
