The sound CAN sound a little "hollow", I suppose, but does have an okay amount of bass, yet still have a good range of sound. A few "issues". They may not be the most comfortable on-the-ear phones, but okay enough. Interestingly, the balance wasn't even. I had to bump up the right balance a bit, but now sounds okay. Bottom line is, for the low price, these work well.
