This film was part of the 8 films to die for collection. This means that it is a low budget, but good production quality. Mulberry Street in particular is a very good film. It's a zombie movie without zombies. There are groups of flesh eating killers who are infected, but not by zombies, but by rats. The movie has good acting and starts in a tenant building and your introduced to a number of characters. The film gives you a good feel for the cast so that you can relate to them. All in all this film is a good watch, my only problem was with the ending. It left me with a feeling of 'What just happened?', but is an okay ending. This movie is worth a buy, and a watch you'll enjoy it if you enjoy zombie type films. If you don't like that film styling you won't like this.Read full review

The first in the 2008 series that I watched. I really liked the characters and the way they interacted. The story was simple but strange and creepy. I like rats as a species but after watching this movie I think they should stay in the sewers where they belong. Action-packed and the ending was unexpected. Will buy this one.
I love this movie because it makes me get all scared because I have pet rats. Also because all the new york streets are real and I have been there before. Great horrorfest movies, comical as well as fearful. I recommend.
I am not really into zombie movies, but as a Desert Storm veteran Mulberry Street really caught my attention, since the heroine in the film was a female Iraq war veteran. Hoohah!!! Kudos’s to filmmaker for recognizing us female veterans. Lots of action in this movie. This is the "new school" classic. Move over "Dawn of the Dead"
