Have a really bad cataract for over 15 years but decided to give NAC drops a chance rather than risking surgery. Been using (inconsistently) for almost a year now because I have been seeing improvement especially in brightness - had an amber color veil and now it is almost the same as the eye that had surgery - vision a bit better too. Pleasantly surprised since the cataract had been there for so many years that I didn't think the nac would help.
