  • What we should know about us.

I was mesmerized by this book, it revealed my past to me and now, so many things about contemporary human behaviour make more sense. From the first page I was captured thanks to it's conversational writing style - like listening to a wise old tribal elder sharing stories - although it is densley packed with the facts that are known to science. There is nothing turgidly academic in it's writing style, it is fun to read. I came to this book after reading it's sequel Homo Deus (a gift). I highly recommend you read both books in sequence.
