    Fine Recorder

    The 5900 is a fine cd recorder. Once you figure out how to record, it's fairly easy. I like the fact that one only uses the remote to start internal recording, then you can use the front panel to complete the program. That is much easier than the recorders which require the remote to complete the entire program. The 5900 also takes various brands of Music cdrs to record and is not limited to one brand, such as Maxell. I like to vary my cdr brands to include Sony, Philips, Verbatim, etc.. There is a volume control for external recording, which is also a plus. All in all, I like this recorder.

    If rating this machine, I would give it 3 stars!

    A little difficult learning how to use this machine compared to my previous Sony & Teac. The recordings are good. The Record Level buttons are hard to understand. The level Never goes into the Red even when I push the + button multiple times. I downloaded the Manual & it is just So So. Doesn't go into detail enough. I'll live with it.

    Once I figured out how to use it,it worked fine.The dubbing isn't done like the directions.Had to go by trial and error.Went thru a few cd's.
