      open your ears for a treat

      Yngwie Malmsteen,a name not very well known to English radio listeners (unless you listen to Planet Rock)but that's their loss and our gain. Let them play the artificial "guitar" bands plucking away as they have been taught in guitar school, we'll listen to a "Master" who's guitar is an extension of his body. A player who constructs music as he goes along. The album "Trilogy" is a fantastic piece of engineering on all sides. All the members of the band shine through and the vocalist is equipped with a voice made for this genre.All the tracks are brilliant, which is good, for you usually get one or two that you don't like, and the lasy track "Trilogy Suite Op:5 really stands out as a virtuoso guitar piece. So if you've never listened to Yngwie Malmsteen, pick up one of his cds and be ...
