What's important is this is a genuine VW part, it fits perfectly and latches automatically when the lid is closed, exactly as it did when the car was new in 2012. I made the mistake of trying a £3 cheap Chinese copy that wouldn't latch automatically when closing the lid . On more than one occasion with the armrest up it would unclip and launch itself into the rear footwell. The Chinese plastic is an inferior grade compared to the genuine one. It might not be cheap but it's worth every penny.

Item was bang on, fit like a glove. Big props on relatively speedy delivery give I'm in Aus, only downside was cost of shipping but what can ya do aye.
