    Thorough and clear

    The book is an excellent and clear treatment of analysis for the graduate student of mathematics. It's unique in that it treats the subject through both real and complex analysis which traditionally are treated as separate subjects. From the start (in Chapter 1) it launches the subject based on topological spaces and sigma algebras.
