Compatible with AMD FX processors, the MSI 760GM-P23 FX socket AM3+ motherboard allows for a HyperTransport bus speed of 5200 MTps, powered by an AMD 760G+SM710 chipset. The two 240-pin DIMM slots in this MSI motherboard allow for up to 8 GB of DDR3 RAM running at 800 MHz, 1066 MHz, and 1333 MHz speeds. Six SATA II interfaces in this socket AM3+ motherboard allow for internal data transfer speeds up to 3 Gbps. In addition, Active Phase Switching in the MSI motherboard helps to efficiently manage power consumption, complemented by an Auto OC Genie that automatically adjusts settings to put the motherboard in overclocking mode. The MSI 760GM-P23 FX delivers lossless 7.1-channel high-definition audio thanks to the Realtek ALC887 codec, with an integrated ATI Radeon 3000 graphics card delivering powerful graphics. This MSI motherboard offers a DVI-D port as well as a VGA port for graphics output, with a micro ATX form factor that measures 9.61 inches long by 9.06 inches wide. Addition connections include PS/2 ports for a keyboard and mouse as well as a Gigabit Ethernet port for speedy Internet access.

      Good budget mobo

      Had my old FX6300 setting on the shelf so I picked up this mobo to turn it into a budget build, the onboard graphics do work with FX processors (had read they dont') which was a nice bonus till I pick up a GPU to put with it. Not good for overclocking but not worried about it on this setup.
