Nikon D4 Simply the worlds greatest camera to date..........even Nikon cant better it yet.
The D4 is now getting on a bit, but compared to more modern cameras, it still has a certain quality to it, and it blows most modern cameras away with the way it handles and the images it produces, I was silly and bought a D810 purely for the IQ and soon realised pixels aren't everything, it simply couldn't match the quality the D4 offered, I shoot aircraft by the way, so yes the D810 was hopelessly outclassed by the D4 but the only way a D810 or the new D850 will exceed a D4 is if you have to blow the images up by 400% or more but even then you are risking the moire issue popping up, I never experienced this but it happens, anyway if you need a fast camera then this is it, AF is as Ken Rockwell says, its clairvoyant and locks on before you even think about it, it really is that fast, its ...
