Collector's item practically unusable. the seller does not respond to messages for clarification. I am very disappointed.

Well made. Good versatility for long focal situations.
I was skeptical at first and read the photo blogs about using the TC 1.4 with the Sony 100-400mm GM zoom. It has almost the same sharpness as without the converter attached. But in harsh light conditions there is some softness at the edges of the objects. I like the versatility of adding the extra focal length for situation where it is beneficial.

Pricey but worth it...
I recently moved from Sony A to Sony E. With my 10O-400 A lens, the 1.4 extender had very little automated features… but with the E extender, I have full functionality with my E 100 to 400 lens. A very welcome change, sharp as a tack, worth the $$$.

Can't tell this item from new! It is spotless, no scratches, no scuffs, beautiful. Delivery was three days from Japan! It takes a week from within Canada. Pictures attached were shot with this item with a Sony 200-600mm zoom (at 600mm) on a Sony A7 III, i.e.: effective 840mm.
