Peters of Kensington are always good at what they do. Their packaging and delivery time is exceptional, and their communication excellent. I love this kettle, the only 'negative' is that the cord seems very stiff, but perhaps that will soften with time. It is worth pointing out that the controls are on the handle which is a 'plus' compared to other kettles where the controls are on the base, and could allow water to penetrate. Thank you.

One of the best Kettles around
It is the best and most versatile kettle, it is not cheap but compared to the other big brands it has so many features like a timer and various temperatures, this makes it extremely useful for parents with little kids that need warm formula! There is 3 years warranty on this which is the highest in the industry however the only downside is my first one died at 2 years and 10 months! Indispensable for Tea/coffee Lovers
This kettle is everything you could want! I use it mostly for french press coffee, but my guests have used it for various kinds of tea, instant oatmeal, or hot chocolate with great success. I did a lot of research on these kettles, and I found that the one thing to avoid was kettles with plastic insides. Every single one with plastic innards had comments about plastic taste in the water. Stainless and glass interiors didn't have this problem, but glass was more susceptable to scale buildup. So I went with stainless. There aren't many of these kettles with stainless insides, and the ones there are are generally more expensive. I looked at the Breville and some others, but they were simply too much money. This one, while not cheap, offered a great feature set, accurate temperatures, ... The kettle is easy to fill, solidly built, and heats water very fast. It finishes its heat cycle with an authoritative BEEP that I can hear from the next room as I watch Sports Center. Another bonus is that even once it has reached temperature, it will keep the water at that temperature for up to 30 minutes, so if I'm busy doing something else, my kettle can wait until I get there, and my water isn't too cold or too hot! The most important thing about a good cup of french press coffee, besides the beans, is the temperature of the water. The base is very minimal and you don't even notice it when the kettle is sitting on it, it looks like one piece of the kettle. The controls are easy to reach while holding the kettle by the handle, and the little LED light on the water level indicator is bright and helps you see the water level in a dimly lit early morning kitchen.

Pricey but fantastic
This kettle is for people that drink a range of hot beverages. If you only drink black tea then a std kettle will do. If you or yiur friends drink black tea or coffee or peppermint tea or any other type of tea or herbal remedy then this kettle will boil the water to the right temperature for your drink.

The Ultimate Kettle
It boils to many heat levels depending on the tea to be infused. ... from 75°C in 5° increments. However it is heavy even empty. We live 700 m above sea level and it doesn't matter what brand of kettle we use, water boils under 100°C, so that the kettle just keeps on boiling. We overcome this setback by using the 95°C setting. This brand is the only one we have come across that has tis control and is much appreciated. Nothing worse that a kettle that just does not auto cut off. The other heat settings are also put to good use. It well constructed and I recommended it.It boils to many heat levels depending on the tea to be infused. ... from 75°C in 5° increments. Great temperature control kettle boils quickly with keep warm function
I researched a few kettles with temperature control before deciding on this, as I need 80 degrees celcius for making fresh coffee. Some people mention the keep warm function stays on for 30 mins if you forget to switch it off, however the kettle remembers your last setting so this isn't a problem if you're not using that function all the time. Highly recommend this kettle.
