    Shorter but workable

    The tailgate gas struts I received for my Fiat Stilo are significantly shorter than the ones which were on the vehicle from new. This means the tailgate doesn't lift as high as it used to but that's not really a problem in my case because I'm not very tall. In any case, the tailgate now stays up nicely when open!
